(COLORADO SPRINGS) — An officer was driving on Platte Avenue near the Citadel Mall when he witnessed a motorcyclist fly through the air after hitting a truck on Friday, April 10, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).
According to CSPD, the officer was driving westbound on Platte Avenue, approaching Auburn Drive on Friday at around 4:30 p.m., when he saw an eastbound motorcycle hit a truck, and the rider was sent airborne. Multiple witnesses stopped to help and called 911.
