LIST: Oahu storm closures continue

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Friday’s storm caused facility closures throughout Oahu, continuing into Saturday, April 11.

City and County of Honolulu officials will evaluate the weather throughout Saturday to decide if facilities should reopen on Sunday, April 12.

FACILITYCLOSURES LIST:

  • All City municipal golf courses
  • The Honolulu Zoo
  • The Tom Moffatt Waikiki Shell.
  • The Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve.
  • All City and County of Honolulu Botanical Gardens.
  • Patsy T. Mink Central Oahu Regional Park.
  • Waipio Soccer Complex is closed both Saturday and Sunday.
  • Parks and recreational facilities, including athletic fields, swimming pools, outdoor courts, and gymnasiums (except those being used for shelters).
  • Waialua Community Assistance Center and Distribution Hub will temporarily pause operations on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Kaena Point State Park (Mākua-Keawa’ula sections).
  • Puu o Mahuka Heiau State Historic Site.
  • Wahiawa Freshwater State Recreation Area.
