ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Warming temperatures and melting snow can seem like a tempting invitation to go for a springtime hike, but the Chugach National Forest Avalanche Center is urging caution on certain trails.
The center posted Friday saying, “Travel is not recommended on the Byron Glacier Trail or Trail of Blue Ice below avalanche terrain.”
