Chris Ronayne came into office as Cuyahoga County executive three years ago wearing the mantle of a compromiser, a conciliator, a bridge-builder.
Following stints in City Hall after he successfully managed Jane Campbell’s 2001 run for Cleveland mayor, serving as planning director, chief of staff and chief of development in her administration, Ronayne moved on to take the reins of University Circle Inc. – a position he held for the next 16 years.
