A 35-year-old Framingham woman died Saturday morning after a single-car crash on Interstate 495 north in Marlboro, where state troopers found a wrecked vehicle near the 62.4 mile marker and two seriously injured occupants.
Troopers responded to the scene at around 9:50 a.m. and discovered that one occupant had to be rushed to a local hospital, where she later died, while the driver sustained life-threatening injuries. State police said the cause of the crash remains under active investigation.
According to NBC Boston, Massachusetts State Police identified the woman who died as Louridie Jean, 35, of Framingham. The outlet reported that Jean was transported from the I-495 north mile marker 62.4 to a local hospital, where she could not be saved. State police extended their “thoughts and prayers” to Jean’s family and said it was still unclear what caused the wreck as investigators worked the scene.
