A wreck involving two semi-trucks on Friday evening shutdown Interstate 24 in the area of the 86-mile-marker in Christian County for nearly 24 hours, causing massive traffic problems.
Two semi-collided at approximately 5 p.m. Friday, with one of the trucks spilling talc into the roadway and one of the trucks also catching fire, shutting down the roadway. Once the fire was addressed, work began immediately to clean up the material that had spilled, which could have become very slick during rain fall if left unaddressed.
One person was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of non-critical injuries…
