Man killed, 2 injured after crash caused by reckless driving, Greensboro police say

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A 29-year-old Greensboro man died early Saturday after a reckless driving crash near the intersection of South Benbow Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Greensboro, police said.

According to the Greensboro Police Department, Jefferson Lumby Zeledon was driving an Acura RSX when he struck a parked Chevrolet Cobalt at the T-intersection around 2:30 a.m. His vehicle flipped and came to rest in the woods. He died at the scene.

Police said Zeledon had committed a hit-and-run in downtown Greensboro before driving recklessly at high speed down South Benbow Road. As he approached the T-intersection, he ran off the road and hit the parked vehicle…
