SEVEN VALLEYS, Pa. — Riding a horse to the bar may sound like an activity from the 1800s, but for people in Seven Valleys it is just a weekend afternoon pastime.
For the past two years The Valley Tavern in Seven Valleys has invited riders to saddle up and hit the trail for National Ride Your Horse to the Bar Day.
“We invite horse riders to ride their horses in and just spend the afternoon”, says Meg Fullerton, co-owner of The Valley Tavern. “We have some swag that we give out to the riders. We have apples and carrots for the horses, and we tie them all up out back from the tavern, and they all behave themselves very well.”…
