ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The first Rochester Charter School Hiring Fair was held on Saturday.
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the MCC Downtown Campus on State Street, Rochester’s 27 charter schools participated in a search for candidates for various roles, including certified and uncertified teachers, teaching assistants, paraprofessionals, support staff, and school leaders.
“This is more than a hiring event; it’s an opportunity for people committed to student success to take on important roles in Rochester’s charter schools,” said Paul Miller, Ed.D., chief academic officer for EDceptional. “We are bringing together schools that are hiring and candidates from the Greater Rochester area who want to make a difference.”…
