LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – A Baton Rouge artist has his work on display at the Black Heritage Gallery as part of their 25th anniversary. Residents got a chance to see some of the process behind his portraits.
Kareem Griffen, a 3D artist, said he has always had an artistic mind since he was young. As he continued to grow as an artist, he began to create 3D art from his junk mail to tell real world stories.
“Really, what was going on and how I felt things were being pushed under the rug. I hate for things to be swept under the rug, bringing attention to some things that are being swept under the rug, so to say,” Griffen said…
