The body of a woman was found on fire on a hiking trail in Texas.
Police responded to a call that a body had been discovered on the Prue Road Trailhead off the Leon Creek Greenway in San Antonio on Friday, April 10, at about 8:52 a.m. local time, according to a press briefing from Sgt. Raul Cardenas of the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD).
Cardenas said that two pedestrians noticed “fire and smoke” while on the trail. They went to investigate, at which point they “saw a body and immediately called the police.”
