Euclid will be joining Rust Belt Riders food waste recycling program with the aim of helping to reduce the amount of trash that gets sent to landfills.
Rust Belt Riders will then take the scraps to their Cleveland facility and process them into different soil products.
Euclid Planning Manager Christine McIntosh said that the city will be partnering with Rust Belt Riders for free, as costs have been funded by the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District, during the first six months as a trial period.
