Driver killed in early morning crash on I-77, South Carolina cops say

One person was killed early Sunday morning in a crash on Interstate 77, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

The two-vehicle collision happened at about 5:45 a.m. in Richland County, said Lance Cpl. Brittany Glover.

Both a 2021 Chevrolet Camaro and a 2019 Mazda CX-30 were driving north on I-77, according to Glover. At the 13-mile marker the Chevy ran off the right side of I-77 and crashed into a guardrail, Glover said. That’s in Columbia, near Fort Jackson…
