FLORIDA — A Jacksonville man was killed late Saturday night in a head-on crash in Alachua County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred around 11:45 p.m. on State Road 24. Investigators report the 30-year-old man was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes when his vehicle collided head-on with a pickup truck.
Following the crash, authorities said the man’s vehicle became engulfed in flames. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released…
