MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Six people were non-critically injured in a three-vehicle crash early Sunday morning on Interstate 40 near Downtown Memphis, police say.
According to the Memphis Police Department, officers responded to the interstate crash around 12:22 a.m. near Danny Thomas Boulevard.
Investigators say a 2020 Ram 1500 traveling eastbound in the left lane first sideswiped a 2006 Infiniti M35 in the right lane. The Ram then struck the rear of a 2012 Dodge Challenger, which was also traveling eastbound in the left lane.

All drivers and passengers involved were taken to area hospitals with non-critical injuries, including Regional One and Methodist University Hospital.
Police cited the driver of the ram for failure to maintain proper control. The driver of the Dodge Challenger was also cited for lack of financial responsibility…
