A Central Florida man murdered his friend as retaliation, and he will now face the consequences. The west Cocoa man was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison for shooting his friend to death in a Central Florida home where they both stayed in January 2022.
Brevard Sheriff’s Office agents said the shooting occurred as retaliation for an incident hours earlier at the Bacon Street house where the murder victim, 49-year-old Anthony “Donell” Greenwood, argued with and battered Britt’s ex-girlfriend.
