Richmond, Va (WRIC) — Today will be beautiful with partly to mostly sunny skies and high temperatures in the upper 70s.
A mild night is in store and overnight lows will only cool into the upper 50s, giving us a mild wake up to start our week on Monday.
Monday is when our warming trend begins as highs will climb into the mid 80s. The day will feature partly sunny skies and there is a chance for a spotty shower or two to pass through the region, predominantly for folks north of I-64.
We could be contending for record highs starting on Tuesday this week and lasting through Thursday.
Tuesday will have a bit more sunshine and continued warming will bring temperatures in the upper 80s to near 90.
We are expected to be back in the low 90s by Wednesday under partly sunny skies. We have not been in the 90s since September 16, 2025!
