First Alert Weather: Warmer but wetter pattern starts today

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Another cool but dry morning in WNY as clouds begin to cover the region. Not a bad morning to get outside as temperatures quickly rise into and through the 40s, but know that rain is on the way. Chances begin late this morning and peak in the afternoon. Coverage-wise, the best chance for showers will be north of I-90, but the FLX still may see a light shower or two. It’ll be dryer this evening, and with temperatures still in the low 60s/upper 50s, it’ll make for another good chance to get outside.

Monday will have more rain showers in the morning, then a mainly dry afternoon and evening with temperatures peaking in the upper 60s. Winds will be very noticeable in the afternoon however, with westerly gusts up to 40 MPH.
