West Palm Beach, FLA. (WPEC) — Strong winds are once again the main concern across South Florida today, with gusty conditions both on land and over the water.
Wind gusts over 30 mph are expected across much of the region, with a few spots possibly seeing gusts closer to 35 mph. These breezy conditions are being driven by a strong area of high pressure to the north, which is accelerating the wind.
Boaters should take extra caution, as marine conditions will remain hazardous for small craft through early next week. Choppy seas and persistent winds will make conditions difficult, especially across Atlantic waters.
