Cedar Rapids’ first Catholic parish to stop weekend mass

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Dozens of Catholic churches across Eastern Iowa will stop holding weekend mass this summer as part of a reorganization plan within the Archdiocese of Dubuque.

One of the churches impacted by the plan is the first Catholic parish established in Cedar Rapids.
