AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Residents looking to cool off this summer can soon take advantage of the city’s splash pads, with openings scheduled for early May.
Officials with Amarillo Parks and Recreation announced that all splash pads will open May 9 and operate through Labor Day. Facilities will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., aligning with the city’s seasonal schedule that runs annually from Mother’s Day through Labor Day.
