EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — Deputies arrested a 35-year-old Fabens woman after investigators said she took a friend’s vehicle without permission and later returned to the same area where the theft was reported.
On April 10, at about 2:46 a.m., deputies with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 12500 block of Alameda Avenue in reference to a stolen vehicle. Deputies met with the victim, who reported that a friend had taken their vehicle without permission.
Deputies identified the suspect as Maria Conchita Rios, 35, of Fabens, Texas. Investigators said Rios had previously been identified as the getaway driver in connection with a most wanted subject on Nov. 30, 2025.
