URBANDALE, Iowa — A large sinkhole that opened up outside an Urbandale apartment complex has caused a road blockage.
Sgt. Joe Fisher with the Urbandale Police Department says the sinkhole was reported around 11 a.m. on Saturday at Camelot Drive and Buckingham Square, located near the Westpointe Apartment and Townhomes.
Upon arrival, authorities found that the sinkhole had opened up along half of the roadway and half of the grassy sideroad. Urbandale Police says no property damage or injuries have been reported at this time.
