PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — A new documentary is bringing renewed attention to one of Illinois’ most haunting unsolved cases, as a filmmaker hopes public awareness could help finally deliver answers nearly two decades later.
“Who Killed These Women? The Tinley Park 5” revisits the 2008 mass shooting inside a Lane Bryant store in Tinley Park, a suburb south of Chicago. A gunman forced six women to the back of the store and shot all of them. Five were killed, while one survived after the bullet grazed her neck in what has been described as a miracle.
