Even in quiet suburban neighborhoods, a sense of safety can hinge on just a few seconds of chance. A motorcyclist in San Antonio, Texas, and four children on a nearby sidewalk were fortunate to escape serious harm after the rider crashed near a suburban intersection and the bike burst into flames.
The crash occurred on the afternoon of April 2 at 3:30 p.m. while a group of four children was near the T-intersection. Vision captured from the security camera of a nearby house shows that suddenly, a sliding motorcycle and the rider came into view, skimming across the road before the bike slammed into the curb.
