GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Part of a building that was home to a family business in Grand Rapids collapsed Sunday.
As Daniel Vantuinen, 14, and his father looked out the front window of their Kalamazoo Avenue home, they noticed something out of the ordinary happening at the building across the street.
“The entire building started like, just moving little bit by bit and then it just, completely just collapsed. The left side of it, right here,” he said, pointing at the gaping hole and rubble on the ground.
