Ollie Liddell named Tennessee’s Top High School Music Educator

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis music educator is receiving statewide recognition for his impact in the classroom and beyond.

Memphis-Shelby County Schools (MSCS) announced that Dr. Ollie Liddell, Director of Bands at Memphis Central High School, has been named the 2026 Outstanding High School Music Educator by the Tennessee Music Education Association (TMEA).

The honor highlights Dr. Liddell’s commitment to student success and excellence in music education.
