Arkansas – Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders signed an executive order on April 10, 2026, authorizing additional funding to support recovery efforts following severe storms and tornadoes that impacted the state on or about May 8, 2024.
The order, EO 26-08, amends a previous disaster declaration, DR 24-05, which was issued on June 10, 2024. The amendment allows for $41,598.49 to be allocated from the Governor’s Disaster Response and Recovery Fund to assist affected communities.
