A new chapter in Christian County’s agricultural story is beginning as Genuine Fertilizer Solutions, L.L.C. prepares to open its first facility in Hopkinsville’s Industrial Park.
Backed by a $2.9 million investment, the new liquid fertilizer manufacturing plant is expected to bring 10 to 15 jobs to the area while strengthening the region’s farming industry.
According to a news release, Genuine Fertilizer Owner David Barbee envisions the company becoming a leader in innovative fertilizer solutions, building on the region’s agricultural strengths.
