Sheriff’s Office identifies drivers involved in I-24 semi-truck wreck

A wreck involving two semi-trucks and a passenger car on Friday evening shut down Interstate 24 in the area of the 86-mile marker in Christian County for nearly 24 hours, causing major traffic issues.

According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, Rodriguez Lamothe of Florida was traveling eastbound in a tractor-trailer. While Lamothe was stopped in traffic, he was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer driven by Svetislav Nedelikovic of Illinois.

As a result of the collision, Lamothe’s truck was pushed forward and hit a passenger car operated by Kay Papin of Missouri…
