BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A man is dead and a women is in custody after a shooting on Sunday afternoon.

Battle Creek Police Department (BCPD) officers said they responded to reports of a shooting at a home near South Ridgeway Drive and Country Club Boulevard on Sunday after 4:30 p.m. where they found a 31-year-old man inside shot in the upper torso.
Emergency responders attempted to save his life, however, he died at the scene. Upon further investigation, officers arrested the 31-year-old woman they encountered upon first arrival outside the home who initially directed them into the home.
Nothing is officially authorized yet, however, officers said she is facing murder charges…
