Father fled fight with kids in car, climbed roof: MPD

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis father is facing multiple charges after police say he sped away from officers with his two children in his car, leaving them behind when he ran from police.

Marquarius Goss, 25, is charged with aggravated assault domestic violence, two counts of child abuse and neglect or endangerment, evading arrest by car and by foot and several driving offenses. He is in jail with a $150,000 bond.

Police said they responded Saturday afternoon to a domestic disturbance on Cornelia Lane, off Willow Road in East Memphis. A woman told police that Goss grabbed her neck to strangle her and pulled off her wig in a fight.
