CLAYTON — The Town of Clayton has hired Lauren Box as its new assistant parks and recreation director. She brings more than 15 years of experience in public recreation services, program development, and staff leadership and began her role in early April.
Box most recently worked as recreation superintendent for the City of San Jose, California, where she managed youth and senior programs and expanded services for residents with disabilities. She also supervised staff, administered budgets and collaborated with community partners to enhance citywide programming.
In her new role, Box will support the parks and recreation director in overseeing daily operations and long-term planning.
