AUSTIN (KXAN) — A Florida man was convicted on April 9 after a Williamson County jury found him guilty of child sexual assault.
Sean Anthony Williams, 57, was sentenced to 75 years in jail and assessed a $1,000 fine. A jurisdiction was established for Williams after one of the assaults occurred at an Austin hotel in September 2021, according to a press release. KXAN is working to find an attorney representative for Williams.
An investigation was launched in 2023 after a then 12-year-old victim told her grandma about the years of abuse, according to the release. The victim, who previously lived in Florida, reported the abuse started there when she was six-years-old and continued until she was 11, the release said.
