Search underway for missing endangered man

CENTRAL TEXAS (FOX 44) – UPDATE: The search is on for a man reported as missing and endangered to the College Station Police Department.

The Amber Alert Network Brazos Valley says 54-year-old James Michael “Mike” Lewis was last seen on Wednesday, April 8 in Austin. He is reported to be 5’11”, with grey stubble hair and hazel eyes.

Lewis was believed to be in a blue 2026 Toyota Tundra with TX LP RYS2505. As of early Monday afternon, authorities report the Tundra has been found and is accounted for in the Austin area. However, Mike is still missing.

He has ties to Katy (Fort Bend County), Thorndale (Milam County) and College Station (Brazos County). Given the time since he was last seen and possible access to a vehicle, the Network says he could be anywhere.

It is believed Lewis is in danger. If he is sighted – do not approach him, but rather contact local authorities or call 9-1-1…
