DES MOINES, Iowa (WOI/KCRG) – The Iowa Restaurant Association says nationally, Generation Z’s alcohol consumption is down 25% compared to 2018. WOI reports that businesses are noticing the change.
Connor Hayes, general manager of Judges on Court Avenue, says he’s seen that shift in what’s being ordered at his bar.
“I definitely have noticed an upward trend in mocktail sales and non-alcoholic beverages in general,” Hayes said. “It’s important to cater to those guests as well.”…
