Spurs Sports & Entertainment owes the city of San Antonio and Bexar County nearly $5 million, but neither government has made an effort to collect it — even as they’ve agreed to spend hundreds of millions of public dollars on a $1.3 billion downtown Spurs arena.
But Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones says she wants the Spurs owner to pay up.
