Fatal incident at Jordanelle Reservoir prompts safety reminder from officials

WASATCH COUNTY, Utah — First responders recovered the body of an adult man at Jordanelle Reservoir following an emergency call reporting a person in distress on the water.

According to the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office, the man was believed to have been on the water at the time of the 911 call. Preliminary information indicates he was wearing a life jacket and may have been paddle boarding alone.
