FORT THOMAS, Ky. (WKRC) – A former Highlands Middle School teacher is disputing the Fort Thomas school district’s decision to terminate his employment, saying investigations that led to his removal were unfounded and that he was ultimately fired over a confidentiality issue.

Brian Alessandro, who taught at Highlands Middle School for 15 years, was terminated on March 31. He said the situation began with a Title IX investigation in 2025.
