Group working to boost home ownership across Cincinnati marks 200 homes sold

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – The Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority, known as The Port, is focused on expanding homeownership and marked a milestone in the Tri-State, celebrating 200 homes sold over 11 years through neighborhood redevelopment efforts.

The Port is a publicly funded agency that acquires vacant homes or land in areas that have seen a lack of investment with the goal of bringing back public investment. The first home The Port sold was part of a 30-home project in Evanston in 2015.
