BURLINGTON, N.C. — A Burlington woman says a reimbursement mix-up following cataract surgery left her temporarily out hundreds of dollars for eyeglass lenses she had already paid for in full — until outside help brought the issue into focus.
Antoinette Pinnix didn’t expect she would need to write letters just to recover money she believed she was owed after ordering new corrective lenses following cataract surgery.
