LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -Bishop Earl Boyea says he has officially started the process of stepping down as leader of the Catholic Diocese of Lansing.
Bishop Boyea announced Friday, his 75th birthday, that he has submitted his resignation to the Pope, as required by church law.
