GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Severe storms moved through Wisconsin overnight Tuesday, bringing a possible tornado to Taylor County and flooding that closed highways and a park across northeastern Wisconsin.
The Taylor County Emergency Management Director is working with the National Weather Service for a formal damage assessment after a possible tornado touched down near Gilman, an hour northeast of Eau Claire. Video showed the possible twister along Highway H in Taylor County.
Hail larger than peas fell in Green Bay.
Flooding closes highways, park
In Winnebago County, all lanes on WIS 114 East/West at US 10/Oneida Street in Menasha are closed because of flooding. Eastbound drivers are recommended to use Highway 47 North to Midway Road East, then US 10 East to get back on US 10/WIS 114. Westbound drivers should follow the reverse route…
