Animal activists plan return to Dane County facility after arrests last month

DANE COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) – Animal activists say they are gearing up for another operation this weekend, targeting Ridglan Farms in Dane County after a break-in there last month led to dozens of arrests.

The group says it is trying to rescue dogs, but the facility strongly denies the accusations behind that effort, calling them unsubstantiated and pointing to a prior settlement and investigation.

According to its website, Ridglan Farms is a biomedical research facility that supports health studies benefitting both humans and animals.
