OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Here are a few items on the agenda for Tuesday’s Omaha City Council meeting.
- No. 12: A vote on allocating $48 million in TIF for Omaha’s proposed downtown soccer stadium.
- No. 38: A public hearing on the city entering into an agreement with the Miller Park Trust for development and implementation of improvements to the park.
- No. 40: A public hearing on using the Enhanced employment Area and Hotel Occupation Tax Reinvestment Program to renovate a historic building at 12th and Nicholas.
- No. 41: A hearing on making the area near 12th and Nicholas a Enhanced Employment Area.
- No. 42: A first reading on demolishing a building near 24th and Douglas to build a new apartment building, using $1.1 million in TIF funds.
