Kentucky police say 6 arrests made in connection to 3-year-old’s fentanyl poisoning

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Madisonville Police arrested six suspects following an investigation into drug trafficking in the area

Madisonville Police tell Eyewitness News the investigation began after a 3-year-old nearly died after ingesting fentanyl.

Madisonville Police say they received a tip about drug activity connected to the fentanyl ingested by the three-year-old, leading to the sexecution of a search warrant on Monday. Authorities say they located a “substantial” amount of suspected methamphetamine, a digital scale and multiple items of drug paraphernalia. Police say they also found approximately a half pound of methamphetamine, a large sum of forged currency and more drug paraphernalia inside a vehicle owned by Presley Suttle.
