A woman was wounded in a drive-by shooting in South Los Angeles, police said Tuesday.
Officers were called at 10:10 p.m. Monday to the 1100 block of Willowbrook Avenue and East 111th Street regarding a shooting, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. When they arrived at the scene, the officers learned the victim was inside her residence when a car drove up to her window and fired multiple times, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
