Sugar Shock At Grapevine Mills As Puffy Cotton Candy Unleashes Giant Characters

Puffy Cotton Candy has landed in North Texas, turning a corner of Grapevine Mills into what looks like a live candy art show. The brand’s first Texas storefront is now spinning giant character-shaped cotton candy and stacking cloud cakes that resemble sculptures more than snacks, drawing families and DFW Airport passersby who follow their noses to the sugar.

Franchise owners Harold and Courtney Polk quietly flipped the switch on March 14, according to Community Impact. The outlet reports this is the first Texas outpost for Puffy, which lists additional locations in Florida, Nevada, New Jersey and Tennessee.

The Grapevine counter specializes in nearly two-foot-tall character pieces, including rainbow unicorns, puppy dogs, hippos, cows and a licensed Sonic the Hedgehog collaboration, along with simpler cotton-candy clouds and cotton-candy cakes. The company lists a dozen flavors on its online menu, such as banana, blue raspberry, chocolate and birthday cake. The full character lineup and flavors are posted on Puffy Cotton Candy.

Where to find it inside Grapevine Mills

The Grapevine Mills store listing places Puffy across from Books-A-Million at entry 4, in the mall’s family and dining wing. Owners Harold and Courtney Polk also dropped by FOX4’s Good Day to show off the new shop and walk viewers through how the character cotton candy is spun and assembled.
