Council Bluffs police say swatting incident led to school lockdowns

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (WOWT) – The Council Bluffs Police Department reports that two schools were under lockdown Tuesday morning.

Police say at about 8:30 a.m., they were told of “threats of violence” towards the Iowa School for the Deaf and Lewis Central Community School District.
