Public invited to update on Gorge Dam removal

CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — Summit Metro Parks announced that the public is invited to a community update on the Gorge Dam removal process.

  • The removal of the 420-foot-wide, 60-foot-tall dam in Gorge Metro Park has begun and is already in Phase 2
  • The progress report will be presented on Tuesday, April 28, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Akron-Summit County Public Library
